Sesam (Sesamum indicum)
The sesame plant is an annual, herbaceous plant that grows to a height of about 1.20 meters.
Sesame seeds are grown in tropical and subtropical areas around the world. The famous sesame oil is extracted from the seeds. It is light and odorless and tasteless. It protects the skin, has a moisturizing and nurturing effect.
In India, sesame has been known for thousands of years and is used in Ayurveda.
